Car Donation Needed

Dear Pro-life Friends-- We have a desperate need at CPLS for a donated car. The car previously donated to CPLS is now 15 years old, in need of serious repair, and is, at this moment, completely in-operable! Thus far, no one has come forward do donate a replacement vehicle. I know these are hard economic times and, most likely, no one has such a vehicle to donate. All I am going to do now—stepping out in Faith—is simply ask, beg for financial contributions towards the purchase of a car that CPLS can use for all of the pro-life work that we do. We are looking to purchase a used vehicle, as I said before, NOTHING FANCY—just a sound automobile, with less than 100,000 miles, less than 10 years old, etc.

Please know that when you make a contribution towards the CPLS car, you are contributing DIRECTLY to the life-saving work of CPLS—and any contribution you make to CPLS is tax-deductable.

Please understand—our need for this vehicle is not a luxury, it is not an extra—it is something needed at CPLS to do pro-life work! We are one of the most important, high-pro-file activist pro-life groups in the county—founded in 1985, CPLS has been fighting abortion and working to establish the Culture of Life for over 25 years. We are in the trenches, on the front lines of this battle. The CPLS vehicle is used for pickets, demonstrations, seminars, to talk women out of abortion at clinics, travel to their homes to help them, travel in the dead of night to retrieve the bodies of aborted babies from abortion mill trash dumpsters, travel connected to planning their burials, doing photography, press conferences, work-shops and speaking engagements where we speak the truth about abortion, refute the lies of the pro-abortion advocates and inspire people to get involved, and equip them to do pro-life work. Archbishop to Dedicate Gravemarker

Archbishop of Detroit, Allen Vigneron, will dedicate the gravemarker for the Hodari Babies. These are twenty three victims of abortion CPLS helped retrieve from trash dumpsters behind abortion clinics owned and operated by abortionist Alberto Hodari in Lathrup Village and Sterling Heights, MI. CPLS oranized their funeral May 3, 2008, with then auxiliary bishop of Detroit, John Quinn, who said the funeral Mass and officiated at the actual burial.
